Enda is a partner in the Corporate M&A Group. He specialises in international and domestic public and private M&A, private equity transactions and debt and equity fundraisings. He has extensive private equity experience and has advised on many of the most high profile investments made by international private equity funds in Ireland in the past 5 years.
Alongside his private equity practice, Enda advises a number of domestic and international corporate clients on their corporate and transaction activity in the energy and infrastructure and agri-food and beverage sectors.

- Waterland Private Equity in relation to its investment in MTM Engineering, a Irish headquartered specialist data centre cable expert providing turn-key cable installation and termination services.
- Ventiga Capital Partners on its sale of Infare, a Danish air travel data platform.
- Skymetrix (a portfolio company of Ventiga Capital Partners) on its acquisition of Rainmaker Business Technologies Limited.
- Insight Partners on their investments in AMCS, the world’s leading supplier of smart resource software and vehicle technology solutions for the waste, recycling and resource industry. One of the largest investments in a private technology company in Ireland at the time.
- Insight Partners on its acquisition of Statistical Solutions Limited, a leading data science and business analytics company.
- Octopus Renewables on its investments in Simply Blue Group, a global marine project developer focused on early stage floating wind projects.
- Novo Holdings and Andera Partners on their co-investment as part of the Series A-3 Prime Round being raised by Foundry Innovation & Research, Limited.
- Novartis Pharma AG on its Series B investment in Deciphex a digital pathology company which develops software and artificial intelligence to accelerate the delivery of pathology services.
- Battery Ventures on a Series C investment in Soldo Investment an Irish fintech company providing expenses management software.
- Motive Partners on its investment in Global Shares plc, a market-leading provider of innovative software and services for employee equity share plan administration.
Strategic M&A
- AXA Group on its €650m acquisition of Laya Healthcare Limited from Corebridge Financial, a subsidiary of AIG.
- Tirlán Co-operative Society (formerly Glanbia Co-operative Society) on its acquisition of Glanbia plc’s 40% holding in Glanbia Ireland, funded by way of a share placing and the issuance of €250m senior secured exchangeable bonds.
- Waystone, the leading provider of institutional governance, risk, and compliance services to the asset management industry, on the sale of a majority stake to European private equity fund, Montagu and Hg, and its subsequent acquisitions of KB Associates and Centaur Group.
- Energia on the establishment of its joint venture with Norwegian group Vårgrønn to jointly develop a number of offshore wind projects.
- Energia in connection with the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Bracklyn Wind Farm Limited, from Galetech Energy Developments Ltd., Storm Management NV and GE Energy LLC.
- GLIL Infrastructure on its acquisition of the 453MW Rathcool Wind Energy Portfolio, which provides approximately 11% of Ireland’s installed wind capacity
- Hanwha Energy Corporation on the sale of its majority interest in Lumcloon Power Limited and Shannonbridge Power Limited, the owners and operators of a combined 200MW Battery Energy Storage System project, the largest of its kind in Ireland and one of the largest in Europe.
- General Electric on the sale of one of Ireland’s largest combined-cycle gas turbine power stations.
- General Electric, on its sale of Ronaver Energy Limited to an affiliate of Apollo Global Management LLC, as part of a $1 billion portfolio sale
- General Electric on its sale of the Derrysallagh and Tullahennel wind farms (combined capacity 120 MW).
- EDF Renewables on its acquisition of a portfolio of eight solar projects with over 100MW of capacity.
- Shannon LNG, a company with permission to construct and operate the first liquefied natural gas terminal in Ireland, on its sale to Fortress Energy.
